Great song, great visuals
A song that samples “Call Me Maybe” in a sped-up chipmunk voice is awesome in my book. Fly Panda brings us an innovative hot song with a great beat, hook, and talented musicians bringing their own style to the table to create something worth listening to. Director Falkon created a great video to go along with the song, with interesting visuals that don’t necessarily make sense, but come together to give viewers a sensory experience.
In the video, each band member gets to display his or her own unique style. Lukas Kash with the funky shades and grill; Winter Rae’s eye patch, bright red mohawk, and ripped pantyhose; and Corey Bold’s piercings and leather. Rae has a nice singing voice, which is perfectly complemented by the others’ rapping and the banging beat. The man in the giant panda suit fits in with the band’s name and the random scenes of the chicken cooking on the grill, the figurines from the junkyard, the cowboy outfit, etc. are all random but keep the viewer’s attention, and strangely it all works together. The song is hot, the video is on point, and nothing is stopping Fly Panda from making it in mainstream markets. I look forward to seeing more from this band. Check it out!
