ance/Pop artist Rob G drops his latest single/video “The Beast Inside” for the masses to enjoy. The dark themed track makes its debut on ampedsounds.com just in time for Halloween. And with that said, I’ll weigh in with my $.02.

The Good: The Beast Inside is a thoroughly constructed track. It features a dark, infectious beat comprised of hard-hitting percussion, deep bass and eerie All Saints Day themed organs. The song’s hook is very catchy and stays with you. The cinematography is well put together and above all, who doesn’t want Batman spinning records in their video.

The Bad: Rob is definitely a better singer than he is rapper, but he does okay as far as Pop rappers go. My suggestion for Rob is to invest more time into developing his flow. If he couples an improved flow pattern with his singing his songs will have even greater listening power.

Overall: The Beast Inside is a cool video with a great theme, especially for this time of year. The visuals support the concept of the song making this video one you’ll watch over and over again. The Beast Inside is a bona fide visual treat with no tricks. That’s my $.02, now go press play!
