Once again it’s Monday. You’re working feverishly to get things situated for what looks to be a productive week. All that’s missing is some good music to help the day go by. As always, we’ve got you covered.
British Pop/Contemporary group Chadwick Station has a lot to offer on their latest EP, Waiting for a Sunny Day. The songs and melodies are reminiscent of The Beatles. And like the prominent group that preceded them, their music is memorable, magical and enjoyable.
The EP is filled with Classic Rock/Pop tunes that deliver sincere messages in the form of solid vocal and instrumental performances. For instance, “Starting Tomorrow” is an upbeat track about moving on from a caustic relationship. The band vividly explains how hard the feat may be, but takes the necessary steps to make it happen. Strings flow fluidly as the stout percussion marks time for the strong vocals. But the good vibes don’t end there. The EP is filled with various flavors of popular music making it a well-rounded, aptly produced body of work.
