Vids: Mike Larry Draw – The Very End
Mike Larry Draw has to be one of the hardest working artists I’ve ever seen. He is a one man conglomerate. I mean, this guy does it all. He writes illustrative rhymes, produces fiery beats, creates his own graphics and directs/shoots/produces his own videos. His latest video “The Very End” is a prime example of his outstanding pedigree.
The stunning black and white images of Philly make for the perfect backdrop as he takes you on a fast paced trip through the City of Brotherly love. The visuals are smooth as silk and in true Mike Larry Draw fashion; he makes a quick cameo appearance in this female-fronted production. It doesn’t have a lot of flash and zing, but the visuals are aligned in context and stays true to the song’s theme. Verbally, he can easily contend with any mainstreamer currently in the game. That Obama line he kicked was pretty slick:
I guess I play the role of Obama/ Gaddafi, Osama, Saddam… I got rid of you!/ The pink slip included with that Manhattan Miracle Mike Larry Draw
A variety of punch lines precedes and follows. The song’s beat is sick! The piano laced hook and heart thumping percussion will make your neck jerk as you bounce to this. This is another well rounded production.
The Very End is a great production put together by an equally great artist and gets the #certifiedamped stamp of approval. Check it out and be sure to check out his other releases on mikelarrydraw.com.
