Certified Amped: Armond
This guy is the truth! If you haven’t heard of Armond by now, wake yourself up with a brisk slap in the face! Just kidding. Seriously though, Armond is becoming a colossal force in Hip-Hop. The Columbus, OH native professes his deepest thoughts and emotions with his own brand of prophetic music. In addition to putting out hit album after hit album, he is a renowned blogger and is the co-host of Clock Radio Speakers (a weekly podcast dedicated to great music) and a dedicated father.
Armond has been in the game for quite some time. He has ten mixtapes under his belt including his latest effort, “Three Day Weekend”, an abstract journey into sound and thought which takes place over a nice long three day weekend. The production is different from what we’re used to hearing from Armond’s camp, but is dope in its own right. His moving concepts are relatable and continue to be a staple in his composition.
Armond is an artist to get familiar with real quick. Buy shares in his stock while you have the chance, for it won’t be long before like his career, they begin to skyrocket. Always one to put forth his best effort, Armond dares to dream out loud for all to hear.
