What’s good people? Let me start by saying that I love Anna Jordan. I was introduced to her new EP, Dust, a few days ago and it has left a lasting mark on my ears. Her angelic tone combines with a bevy of fluid instrumentation that will give you a fascinating audio experience.
Jordan isn’t your average vocalist. The Dublin songstress has a very unique, unorthodox voice that is truly unlike anything that you’ve ever heard. The high-pitch shrills and shrieks create musical masterpieces that stay with you long after the music has stopped playing. The stand-out track for me is “She Dances”. It’s a lively track, full of color and good vibes. But that’s just one track. The entire EP is filled with the ebb and flow of Jordan’s voice and dexterous piano keystrokes. Dennis Cassidy (drums/electric percussion), Tom Prior (bass), and Ailbhe Nic Oireachtaigh (viola) provide their own awesomeness to these phenomenal compositions. Together they create great tunes that will positively change the way you consume music.
This is an EP that you have to get your hands on. It’s well worth the 5 Euro price of admission. Preview it here, then head over to her website to purchase it.
