An amazing cover of Just Bieber's charting single, Heartbreaker
Needs more variety of shots
Adrien Austin is soul personified. Seriously. I mean this guy has remarkable talent and quite honestly, he can knock the wind out of a lot of mainstream vocalists that you’re constantly subjected to. Case in point, his latest creation, an amazing re-creation of Justin Bieber’s Heartbreaker. Not only did he flex his boss baritone, his falsetto traversed the tenor audiosphere with ease creating a euphoric moment for all to enjoy. I hadn’t heard Bieber’s massive hit until I listened to Austin, and one thing’s for sure, I like Austin’s deconstructed version waaaaaaay better than the original.
The song’s remixer, Levester White, did a phenomenal job at rearranging and recreating a soulful juxtaposition of this modern-day Pop standard. White slowed it down just a tad and added some serious ground pounding drum and bass to this amped-up, stripped down classic in the making. The heavy percussion is the driving force behind the high fidelity of the track and is the perfect accompaniment to Austin’s lush vocals.

White had the luxury of having two roles in this hit; he was the song’s producer as well as the director of the visuals experience. While there isn’t anything flashy about the video, the visuals serve the audio well. Colorful and desaturated images interchange as shots, mostly close ups on Austin, invoke the song’s emotion and does so adequately.
This is a must-see/must-hear/must-have feel good track that you have to hear and get your hands on. After you finish watching the video head over to his YouTube page for more awesome covers.
