Singer/songwriter Adam Bradbury is about as unique as they come. His unorthodox vocals are unlike anything I’ve heard before. At first listen it sounds a bit strange and off key, then a few moments later you realize that is the beauty of his music. Bradbury’s sound doesn’t fit conventional thinking (as it pertains to singers) because he doesn’t sound like anyone else. He has taken a turn off of the beaten path, paving his own way in music. His audacious approach forces you to rethink how you listen to music and to appreciate the abnormal.
I’m loving Bradbury’s sound. I was introduced to his unique flow today when I opened an email with his video for his track “Northern Lights” in it. It’s a smooth record with nice visuals to match. Bradbury’s striking voice and intense instrumentation goes together like coffee and milk; combining the strong with the smooth, making a great tune to listen to. Ben King did a great job directing this piece. The story/plot was predictable, but is fit right in with the song’s concept. And the acting was so damn cute that you forget all about any shortcomings while you’re tuned in. I was fully entertained from start to finish and you will be too.
